Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LockFeed, including the LockFeed update to LockQuiz, operated by Mosaic Integral Innovations LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

2. The service

LockFeed helps you add a learning moment before accessing selected apps. It uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks to apply restrictions and temporarily unlock apps after a quiz. Features depend on supported devices, system permissions, and operating-system behavior. You are responsible for your app selections and settings.

Unlock periods use elapsed time; they do not represent measured time spent scrolling. Learning content is provided for general practice and does not guarantee retention, mastery, exam results, or a particular reduction in screen time. LockFeed is not an emergency or safety system.

3. Privacy and your analytics choice

LockFeed does not require an account. Screen Time selections, app-unlock activity and settings stay on your device. Released version 1.3 has no analytics or tracking. The upcoming 1.4 update will offer optional PostHog analytics, disabled until you explicitly allow it. You can decline or later turn it off in Settings without losing paid access. Analytics covers app-owned browsing, standalone practice, learning/demo and purchase interactions; it excludes Screen Time-derived data. 4. Access and purchases

Current LockFeed 1.3 includes five successful real app unlocks, followed by a one-time lifetime purchase for subsequent unlocks. Standalone quiz practice requires lifetime purchase immediately, even while free app unlocks remain. The onboarding demonstration, Settings and the ability to disable or remove app locks remain available without purchase. This access policy is unchanged in upcoming version 1.4. Earlier LockQuiz 1.0 and LockFeed 1.2 were free.

Version 1.3 offers US$4.99 lifetime access. Apple displays the localized price before purchase. This is a non-consumable lifetime purchase, not a subscription. Restore Purchases recognizes verified lifetime purchases made for this app using the purchasing Apple Account, including the existing US$4.99 product. Apple handles payments and refund requests under its applicable terms and consumer rights.

Upcoming version 1.4: eligible new installations that allow analytics may be randomly assigned a lifetime offer with a US base price of $0.99, $2.99, $4.99, $9.99 or $19.99. The assignment is saved for that installation. Existing installations retain the US$4.99 offer; existing purchasers retain verified lifetime access. If analytics is declined or the experiment is unavailable, the ordinary US$4.99 offer applies. The gift animation reveals an offer and does not buy anything. Offers are compared with the current US$30.00 standard lifetime option, which will also be available for purchase. The comparison describes that current standard option, not a claim that you previously paid $30.00 or that a particular offer has a sales history. Localized StoreKit prices are shown before checkout, and any displayed discount is calculated from those available localized prices.

Successful-unlock counts carry forward from earlier versions. Wrong answers, retries, practice and onboarding demonstrations do not consume an app unlock. The fifth earned unlock keeps its selected duration. The count remains local to the installation; removing and reinstalling the app may reset it. A refund or revocation removes paid access for future unlocks and practice without cutting short an already earned unlock.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use LockFeed lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, infringe intellectual property rights, or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it. Do not use the service to harm or harass others.

6. Intellectual property

LockFeed’s branding, software, and original content belong to Mosaic Integral Innovations LLC or their respective licensors. Third-party learning material remains subject to its own rights and attributions. Your use of the service does not transfer ownership of these materials. 7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

LockFeed is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, complete accuracy of learning material, or that app restrictions will always function as intended.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mosaic Integral Innovations LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising from use of the service. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Termination

You may stop using LockFeed at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms or where required by law, subject to applicable legal obligations and consumer rights.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law, legal proceedings relating to these terms shall be brought in the courts of New York County, New York.
